I was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in North Potomac, Maryland. I graduated from Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland in 2003. I went away to Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania to study psychology and elementary education. In 2007 I graduated Muhlenberg College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology and a teacher's certificate in elementary education.
I returned to Maryland to teach in Montgomery County Public Schools. I have taught second grade for the past four years at Summit Hall ES, Clopper Mill ES, and Judith Resnik ES. I am excited to teach first grade this year!
I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education through Towson University.
